The Lineages of Brussels
The Royal Association of Descendants of the Lineages of Brussels was established in 1961 with the aim of preserving and transmitting the unique historical heritage of the seven lineages that have shaped the history of Brussels since the 13th century.
Under the high patronage of His Majesty the King, our association brings together the descendants of great patrician families who participated in the governance of the city and contributed to its political, social, and cultural development.
Our mission is to keep this historical memory alive, to promote genealogical research, and to actively participate in the preservation of Brussels traditions.
